New Year's Wedding

I spent New Year's Eve at a beautiful wedding in Carrillo, Costa Rica. The venue was on a secluded beach a mile or so back from the main road. It was a long evening but the shots came out incredible. This shot I used a 14mm 2.8 lens, Nikon d600, Tripod and no flash and because everyone was for the most part still and because the fireworks were lighting up the sky the photo came out perfect. Happy 2015!

Sept clouds have yet to cryC

It's 11 days into Sept and things are looking pretty good. Surf has been smaller sized but still fun. As we continue to incorporate more video into our site we have been playing with our SLR's awaiting new gear. Here is some local footage taken with the trustworthy nikon.

This video is dedicated to my friends in Playa Pelada Costa Rica. Thanks for keeping the Costa Rica vibe alive! Some people have a tendency to forget the locals of this land. Understand and respect the locals no matter where you are in the world. Vacation to you is everyday life to them.

Video was shot using my Nikon d5000 digital camera. This in itself is a task due to HD video being new on SLR cameras. Footage and editing done by Alfredo and myself. In the future it would be nice to get good video gear and another goProhd (mine broke) but we are waiting to win the lottery before we go big!
